The EU AI Act and AI Literacy
Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires providers and organisations using AI systems within its scope to support the AI literacy of staff and others using AI on their behalf. The requirement began applying in February 2025, with enforcement from August 2026.
The Act does not prescribe one course or certificate. Training should reflect the AI systems being used, the experience of staff and the risks connected with their work.
What Your Team Will Learn
Participants learn how to choose suitable tasks, protect confidential information, give AI clear instructions and check the accuracy of its output. We also cover bias, copyright, brand voice, human review and responsibility for final decisions.
Training is available for teams, managers, leaders and boards. Sessions range from a focused introduction to longer practical workshops and leadership briefings. Delivery is available in person or online.
